What a day!! After meeting Tara and Kylie for their engagement session, I knew their wedding was going to be an amazing celebration due to their fun, positive personalities and deep love for one another. My hunch was right! It didn’t take long for the happy tears to start with their super sweet legal ceremony in their hotel room at Hotel Eldorado in Kelowna, which they did so that a friend could officiate their celebration ceremony at Summerhill Pyramid Winery. It was the sweetest moment with just a few witnesses and the two of them in their matching light pink dress-shirts. We then moved on and took photos with an awesome classic vintage car before heading to Summerhill Pyramid Winery for the rest of the wedding. Tara and Kylie held a quick vote with the guests before their ceremony to determine what song Tara would dance down the aisle to. I was thrilled when everyone picked “You Make My Dreams” by Hall & Oates. It was such a fun, energetic way to start the celebration and everyone could feel the love and buzz in the air. Speaking of “buzz,” these two had the cutest hashtag for their wedding: #lesBEEanwedding2019.

After a fun cocktail hour and a delicious dinner prepared by Summerhill Pyramid Winery Tara and Kylie had their first dance, followed shortly by an AMAZING flash mob dance! A video had been sent out prior with the moves for those who wanted to learn and the couple were happily surprised that almost all their guests had learned the steps. With good vibes like that, I was hyper and happy all day long. : D

Tara (in the suit) was a surrogate mom for these two dads. Wow. What an incredible, selfless gift. I’m glad I learned that incredibly touching detail before the wedding so I could cry my huge happy tears before the wedding (hard to take photos with mascara burning your eyeballs. lol).
